RCC Hosted HCV Youth Indoor Hardball Leagues — U12 & U15 Take the Spotlight at Rüsselsheim on ensemble Youth cricketer!

U12 League — FCC Falcons vs FICA U12; Winner – FICA U12

Our youngest competitors showed tremendous skill and determination across two closely fought matches. FICA U12, captained by Daivik Reddy Bayyam, put up the highest team score of the day — an impressive 135 for 3 — while FCC Falcons U12, led by Urjit Sakravat, battled hard throughout.

The batting highlight of the U12 league came from Yoan Jay Tahiliani, whose knock of 42 runs was the standout innings of the competition and earned him top spot in the player rankings with 103 points. Vihaan Kedaginamarad impressed for the Falcons with 37, and Mohammad Ali Siddiqui — a familiar name in RCC's own youth ranks — contributed 27 for FICA.

With the ball, Atharv Jain, Sahil Nadeem, and Urjit Sakravat each claimed two wickets, with Sakravat's figures of 2 for 9 the best of the series.

U15 League — Falcons, Eagles & Stars Light Up the Ground; Winner – FICA Eagles

The U15 competition brought three teams together across three matches, delivering the most competitive and high-scoring cricket of the day. FCC Falcons U15 (captain Kiaan Nithin Kotecha), FICA Eagles (captain Yashas Randev), and FICA Stars (captain Kian Harsh Shah) all produced performances to be proud of.

677 runs were scored in total, with 28 wickets falling and a combined six sixes hit across the three games. The day even featured that rarest of achievements in youth cricket — a hat-trick — adding to the drama of an already memorable competition.

The batting star of the entire day was Tarun Doranalli of FICA Stars, whose superb knocks of 62 runs was the highest total score across both leagues. Jaikrish Saravanakumar (47) and Nithilan Karthik (42) also shone, while FICA Eagles captain Yashas Randev top-scored for his side with 40.

In the bowling, Kiaan Nithin Kotecha was outstanding with figures of 3 for 18, sharing the three-wicket honours with FICA Eagles' Sayedullah Akbari. Akbari's all-round contribution across the day earned him the top spot in the U15 player rankings with 149 points, ahead of Kotecha on 126.

A Special Milestone for RCC

These two leagues form part of an extensive and growing HCV youth cricket calendar. A glance at the HCV-CricClubs portal reveals how dramatically youth cricket has expanded in Hessen in recent years. Alongside the two RCC-hosted leagues, the 2026 HCV calendar had already included the HCV U15 Youth Indoor Cricket League, the HCV U12 Youth Indoor Cricket League, the HCV U12 Winter League, and the HCV U15 Winter League — all completed in the first three months of the year alone.

This trajectory reflects a broader trend. From the HCV's early U10 and U12 tournaments in 2023, through the HCV U15/U16 T20 League 2025 and the HCV U17 T40 League 2025, to the present day, the association has built a year-round pipeline of structured competitive cricket for young players aged 10 to 17. The naming of the two new leagues as HCV-RCC signals a meaningful institutional partnership, recognising Rüsselsheim Cricket Club not merely as a participant but as a co-organiser of youth cricket development at the state level — and we couldn't be more proud.
